Sweden wins the semifinal against Slovakia, 4-1, and will meet Canada in the final Sunday afternoon.
This was a strange hockey game, at times the hockey was crap, at times Slovakia played with the Swedish team, and at times Sweden looked like they controlled the game totally and completely. The king of this game was definetly Mats Sundin, scoring 2 goals and assisting on the last, empty netter by Henrik Zetterberg.
Slovakia, is awfully good in power-play, but only managed to score once. At times they were toying around in the Swedish zone – but when the defencemen couldn’t catch the opponents the Swedish goalie, Mikael Tellqvist from start today, was better than awfully good 🙂
I’m already looking forward to the revenge that we’re going to get agains Canada Sunday.
Go Sweden Go!!
