Since upgrading to SuSE 9.0 on my laptop, I’ve been unable to get my Intel 2011B PCCard to work. Before, I was able to get Pavel Roskin’s Spectrum24 driver (which is now incorporated in the Linux Orinoco Driver project) to work, and it probably still works but I’m unable to get my running kernel to accept the modules that I compile for it.
So – I went and bought me a D-Link DWL-AB650 card instead, which worked as a charm as soon as plugged in.
I have a Netgear MA401 as well, but since the Intel 2011B PCCard works about as well in Windows XP as it does in Linux, I’ve had to lend that to Anna for her to use in her laptop.
